Supporting a child through emotional challenges can feel overwhelming for any parent. My role is to offer a safe, nurturing space where children feel heard, understood, and gently supported as they make sense of their inner world.
With over 30 years’ experience working with children across a variety of settings including 15 years within education I bring a deep understanding of child development, behaviour, and the unique pressures children face today. I have worked with children of all abilities and needs, including those who are neurodivergent, those experiencing change or loss, and those finding it difficult to cope with everyday demands.
I offer a calm, child-centred environment where children can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. Using a gentle, person-centred approach, I meet each child exactly where they are—without judgment, pressure, or expectation. Sessions may include talking, creative activities, play-based exploration, or quiet reflection depending on what feels most comfortable for them.
My priority is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where your child feels:

While the counselling space belongs to the child, I also work closely with parents and caregivers to provide guidance, support, and understanding around your child’s emotional needs. I offer:
Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported. I am committed to offering a compassionate, reliable service grounded in professional training, extensive experience, and a genuine passion for children’s wellbeing.
