Feeling constantly under pressure, overwhelmed or unable to switch off can begin to affect every part of your life. I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing and explore ways forward at your own pace. you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies for positive change.
We all experience periods of stress, but sometimes the pressure doesn't ease. Work, relationships, family responsibilities, financial worries or major life changes can gradually leave you feeling overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted.
You may find that you're constantly thinking about everything you need to do, struggling to relax even when you have the opportunity, or feeling that you simply don't have anything left to give.
When this continues for a long time, stress can begin to affect your wellbeing, relationships and ability to enjoy everyday life.
Burnout can develop when ongoing stress and pressure leave you feeling physically and emotionally exhausted.
It is often associated with work, but prolonged pressures in other areas of life can also leave you feeling depleted and unable to recover properly.
You may have spent a long time coping, supporting other people or simply pushing yourself to keep going. Eventually, things that once felt manageable can begin to feel much harder.
Counselling provides an opportunity to stop, reflect and explore what may be contributing to these feelings without judgement or pressure.
Our child and adolescent counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help children and teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life.
Counselling gives you a confidential space to talk openly about the pressures you are experiencing and how they are affecting you.
As an integrative counsellor, I recognise that everyone's circumstances are different. We can work together to understand what may be contributing to your stress, recognise patterns that may be leaving you feeling overwhelmed and explore changes that feel realistic for you.
Counselling can also provide an opportunity to consider boundaries, expectations, relationships and the balance between your own needs and the demands placed upon you.
The aim isn't to tell you how you should live your life, but to help you develop a greater understanding of yourself and find ways forward that feel right for you.
Work can provide purpose and satisfaction, but excessive demands, long hours, difficult relationships, organisational change or feeling unable to switch off can have a significant impact on wellbeing.
You might find yourself thinking about work during evenings or weekends, dreading Monday mornings, struggling to concentrate or feeling increasingly detached from a job you previously enjoyed.
Counselling offers a confidential space away from the workplace where you can explore what is happening and consider what you need.
